“We overestimate how much food we need to sustain us.” I realized yesterday that gluttony, especially in the realm of food, is detrimental to productivity and liveliness. I want to be more mindful of how much I eat, and not necessarily push the boundaries of hunger, but see how my days feel when food is not my main priority and focus. I want to eat only when I have to, and really commit myself to the present.
